Highways Commercial Director

One of the most prestigious Multi-disciplinary engineering consultancies in the UK are looking for a Commercial Director to join their successful highways division. This an exciting time for the company who are looking to triple their turnover, which is already over £300M, by 2012.

As a commercial director you will manage and develop the commercial and financial elements of the London division, enabling effective delivery of a wide range of services to various clients. You will champion the companies principals and values and you will provide support to the business director to provide a consistent, focused and profitable business.

To be suitable for the role of commercial director you must have extensive extensive experience of the construction industry and you must also have experience of bidding, risk management, contracts and business development. This role is within the private sector but will be largely working on public sector contracts. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
