Our client is one of the country's leading retailers with outlets across the country. With rapid expansion and a massive market presence they require a high calibre merchandiser to head up our client's non food category.
You will be responsible for driving profits by delivering the department's merchandise plan in line with the Planning and Trading calendar. Operating at a strategic level you will continuously improve ranges and promotions to hit and then exceed sales and margin targets.
You will also provide detailed financial budgeting of the department at sub group level (sales, stock, markdown, margin, OTB, return on space and supply chain cost) using historical data, financial trends and forecasts.
Whilst managing stock levels, logistics and exit plans you will ensure the right products are in the right place, quantity and time, achieving launch percentage targets for each range change.
With a proven track record in retail merchandising operating at a senior level you will have excellent management skills in a high volume environment.
