Our client is a leading Trading and Industrial conglomerate in the Middle East with more than 30
businesses selling to more than 40 countries. They
are the largest and most diversified privately-owned
company in Kuwait with more than 300 brands and
agencies, a market leader in almost every business
operated. They currently employ close to 7,000 employees from across 45 nationalities.
The successful HR Director will be expected to contribute to the creation of the Groups HR strategy and ensure it’s delivery in the Division in an effective and timely manner.
Working closely alongside the Corporate HR Division, you will be heavily involved in the creation of a Group HR Strategy & developing the specific business needs of the Division, as well as creating and implementing Divisional succession and Career Plans, Development Plans, OD Plans and Manpower Plans and recruitment activity.
You will orchestrate the Performance Management and Reward Programmes in the Division with Corporate HR support and guidance. You’ll be setting up and agreeing appropriate SLAs and will handle all ER and IR issues in the Division.
Ideal candidates will be ambitious HR professionals with a high level of experience in a senior level HR position, degree educated and ideally with a diploma in HR Management. Proven generalist HR experience is essential, preferably from within a major UK retail company and more recently at a senior level.
