The Profile:

Our client based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, is a leading supplier of concept services to a global market. They are looking to appoint an MCIPD qualified, HR Manager who will be familiar with operating in a fast moving, changing and growing business environment.

The Duties:

• To develop and deliver HR strategy that prepares the business in meeting significant growth plans
• Work closely with the Head of Operations to develop operational growth planning strategy; shift patterns, language requirements, management and support needs
• Deliver practical and innovative recruitment resourcing solutions to meet the needs of a growing, multicultural business
• Manage and review all HR supplier contracts; recruitment preferred partners, payroll, pensions, life assurance etc
• Manage and develop a reward and benefits strategy that supports growth and personnel retention
• Ownership of all HR policies and processes to meet business needs and ensure legal compliance
• To be an expert advisor to the business on HR related matters including TUPE, general employment law, employee relations, visa and right to work legislation and background screening
• Management and control of HR budget
• Team management responsibility for HR team
• To proactively identify opportunities and threats to the business and to prepare HR solutions accordingly
• With and through HR Advisor to drive excellence in people management and development practices across the business
• To manage and continually develop HR reporting and metrics pack for the Board


The Person:

• Previous HR management experience, including significant exposure to delivering and executing strategies for growth
• Ideally you will have some experience gained in a multi-site, contact centre environment
• In depth understanding of employment law, including TUPE legislation and the complexities of employing workers from overseas European and worldwide
• MCIPD qualification essential; education to degree level desirable
• Experienced in HR project management
• Experienced in managing HR service providers – payroll, pensions, benefits etc
• Strong change management skills and experience
• Excellent commercial awareness and understanding
• Experience of working in and recruiting for a multicultural / multilingual environment is highly desirable; as is having gained experience within an SME environment
