Human Factors Consultant
As specialists in Human Factors and world leaders in Ergonomic Consultancy our client is seeking experienced Human Factors professionals who would like to develop their careers in the oil, gas and chemicals industries.
Since July 2008, our client has been part of a Rail Engineering company which has enabled them to develop business in the UK and internationally, with increasing demand for work in the process industries sector. In order to service this increase in demand, they are extending their team of consultants working in this sector, with vacancies at various levels. Positions are available in their offices in Manchester, London and Bristol.
Experience of Human Factors Consultant
+Must have a recognised qualification or equivalent in Human Factors / Ergonomics or Psychology
+A substantial amount of practical experience in supporting the management of major accident risk and/or the integration of human factors into design.
+ Previous process industry experience is desirable but not essential. Of more importance is an interest in the oil, gas and chemicals industries, and a practical approach.
Experience of Human Factors Consultant
+Depending on your level of experience, your role will involve a mix of technical support to projects and business development.
+Typical projects in this area include support to COMAH and Offshore safety cases, Human Factors Engineering support to major projects during FEED and detailed design
+Input to the design of control rooms, and support to the review and development of management systems for human factors issues such as competency.
