Information Security Consultant

We are currently recruiting for a CLAS qualified (or equivalent) Senior Information Security Consultant who will develop and maintain Accreditation Document Sets in accordance with HMG Standards to enable the client to obtain and retain accreditation of their systems and their connections to partner organisations.
• Provide advice, guidance and assistance to managers, system users and system custodians on InfoSec matters.
• Advise and assist in the implementation of ISO 27001 (BS7799) and the carrying out of compliance audits.
• Assist in the identification of InfoSec requirements for the protection of information processed, stored and transmitted by information systems and assist in the implementation of plans, policies and procedures necessary to ensure compliance.
• The development of techniques and procedures for conducting information security risk assessments.
• The collection, compilation and generation of InfoSec reports and briefing packages for presentation to the client and management.

• CLAS consultant or equivalent standard.
• A qualification in Information Security or an ability and willingness to achieve one.
• Experience in IT security.
• Knowledge of ISO27001 (BS7799).
• Familiarity with the SPF and IA Portfolio, IAS1, CRAMM.
• Excellent communications, organisational and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of humour.
• A flexible approach coupled with a “Can Do” attitude.
• Experience in directly interfacing with customers with appropriate presentation skills.
