Infrastructure Architect
City of London - London
Candidate will perform system engineer work for both internal teams and clients.
Responsibilities include:
·Utilise knowledge of systems architecture to create a strong core for application development.
·Draw on at least three years of systems administration experience to assist with the core infrastructure for projects both internally and for external clients.
·Interact with other members of the development team and project managers in a positive manner to deliver on-time and above standard applications for our clients.
·Use knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, LAN/WAN, IP addresses, and administration to complete a variety of projects.
·Utilise consulting and documentation skills to successfully complete project-based work.
·Have a strong desire to gain or use extra-curricular certifications as part of ongoing professional growth.
·Use knowledge of servers, PC's, and networks to ensure the environments work correctly.
·Provide examples of documentation, and assist with writing on current projects, to ensure they can be continued into the future.
·Be open to commuting in and around the London area in order to be present at client sites for work.
Success Criteria:
·4-8 years of experience in systems engineering to design platforms to support developers
·Use in-depth experience with networks, systems, and client-facing skills to create innovative business solutions.
Bonus Skills:
·Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, InfoPath, Windows Workflow or comparable technologies Microsoft certifications, especially MCSE
·Some project management experience
