Infrastructure Engineer - Africa

We are looking for an experienced infrastructure engineer/consultant who has a proven track record of IP infrastructure engineering to focus on “Cisco Connected Real Estate” (CCRE) Solutions. You should come from a technical engineering background and may have experience in the design and hands on engineering and delivery of Data Centres, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) , Physical security Access, IP networking, PBX, Optical SDH/DWDM or infrastructure solutions.

As CCRE is the generic Cisco term for interconnected infrastructure environments, we are flexible on the technology background, however, you should be able to live and work in Africa (Specific location to be TBC) for at least 6 months.

My client are looking to build a team of Senior Engineers who are able to lead the engineering teams in the integration of legacy systems and create a connected Real Estate solution. To have a completely connected solution is different to AVVID or UC, as the CCRE embodies all technologies, not just video, voice and data.

It is advantageous if you have an understanding of Cisco technology to CCNA/CCNP level, however, knowledge of Campus technology integration is key.
