Infrastructure Project Manager

Leading IT Managed Services Consultancy is experiencing extensive growth in projects and are looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager to be an influential part of their Project Management team in London. Candidates will have a Flexible and pragmatic approach with in depth understanding and experience working within structured full project lifecycle methodologies – Prince 2 or other structured methodology, with a proven track record of delivery. Candidate will be Prince II or similar qualified, as you will be personably responsible for the definition, documentation and safe execution of a portfolio of IT infrastructure projects as per business requirements. Strong communication skills written and oral with the ability to professionally manage (internal and external) client / stakeholders expectations, along with exceptional risk analysis and problem management skills. Successful candidates will have experience managing resources within a matrix environment and accurate cost, timescales and project budgets with 5 years + exposure to similar role. Advantage will be given to candidates who have experience of managing progression of implementations through relevant environments ( DEV, SYSTEST, CATE ) to production and who have had exposure to Unix and IBM technologies.
