Insight and Research Manager
Hertfordshire - South East
One of the UK's largest FMCG manufacturers is seeking a high calibre Insight and Research Manager where you will be responsible for identifying and defining key industry and category drivers to support and inform brand strategies with the foodservice division of the business.
The key responsibilities for the role include:
- Identify, explore and evaluate potential growth opportunities with marketing and sales, enabling actual product development, communication and trading initiatives
- Recommend and oversee ad hoc research and analysis in support of NPD, EPD, product testing and category reviews
- Liaise with primary research agencies, e.g. TNS, Mintel, ACNielsen, Datamonitor etc, in order to drive category plan formulation and implementation
It's key for the right candidate to have:
- Strong analytical capability in continuous data, consumer panel and customised research
- Strong modelling capability
- Good understanding of continuous and ad hoc research techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of energy and results orientation
