Ø Systems Engineering consultancy founded in 1989 to meet the demand for technical support to defence and commercial organisations, developing high value complex systems.

Ø We provide Systems Engineers, who have a proven record of capturing, formalising and decomposing users needs into a set of system specifications, planning and performing system integration, verification, validation and achieving system security and safety accreditation.

Primary Purpose of the Role

Ø Analysis of Systems Requirements and Software Application (current and future) requirements and derivation of Software Integration Requirements to:

· Development of Requirements for Test (RfTs) as part of SI process
· Develop and manage a DOORS database for the capture and traceability of identified requirements
· Provide an audit trail for source requirements traceability

Ø Customer – MoD – BATCIS IPT
Ø GD Project and Relationship Managers
Ø Project Technical Leads
Ø Subcontractors


Key Tasks

Ø Analysis of Software Application and BCIP (current and future) requirements and derivation of Software Integration Requirements;
Ø Chair RFT Reviews for current and future software applications.
Ø Provide the Requirements assurance role culminating in the decision to Field.
Ø Provision of RFT and SPR Metrics to IPT and other Stakeholders.
Ø Trend Analysis in support of testing and requirements.
Ø Support to IPT, SE cell management and JSIB-BISA Project/Relationship Managers (PRMs) covering BISA technical workshops and programme reviews as required.


Technical and Professional Skills

Ø Knowledge of specific applications i.e. DOORS, MS Office
Ø 10 yrs relevant experience gained in an IT environment; preferably involving system integration of software components
Ø Suitable level of experience of DOORS database compilation and management
Ø Managing Customers and Suppliers
Ø System safety, project management
Ø Requirements management effective demonstration of an analytical ability; preferably gained within a requirements management environment.
Ø Experience of working within, or knowledge of, the Armed Services, preferably within the Land environment

Education and Qualifications

Ø Appropriate degree qualification in an IT or scientifically relevant subject

Ø Analysing & Using Evidence
