Interconnect Manager / Carrier Relations

Our Client is one of the leading mobile network operators who are currently looking to recruit an Interconnect Manager to join their regulatory team. The successful candidate will manage the local interconnect rates with fixed and mobile operators in the Republic of Ireland.

Please note - This role is based in Ireland. Relocation assistance is not offered but they welcome candidates from outside of Ireland.


The Role


- Develop internal strategies to support the interconnect relationships with current suppliers.
- In charge of the commercial agreements for national and international wholesale call prices.
- Interface with the Billing team to ensure all rates are correct
- Provide analysis of existing traffic patterns and offer support and advice to the commercial team.
- Coordinate the resolution for any disputes.
- Ensure the company is influential in the development of Ofcom, ComReg and EU Policy
- Co-ordinate the management of responses relevant to Ofcom and ComReg
- Commercial support for marketing initiatives that require connectivity to and from other networks.

Requirements

- Experience managing commercial interconnect / carrier agreements either in the UK or Ireland.
- Technical understanding of mobile networks.
- Understanding of Regulatory structures within Ireland
- Financial and Spreadsheet experience
- Commercial and financial analysis experience.
