The client is a worldwide chemical / manufacturing business and currently require an interim CFO to work for the next 6 months in Hong Kong. This is very much a 'Hands on' role and you will be responsible for ensuring that proper books and records are maintained by the operation in accordance with local legal requirements and Group policies.
This includes ensuring that all company transaction are accounted for in a timely manner.
Responsible for ensuring that the Plant is in compliance with local fiscal law and for ensuring that all tax returns are calculated and submitted to relevant authorities in the manner prescribed and that all tax payments are remitted within due dates.
Responsible for managing relationship with local tax authorities and local tax advisors.
Responsible for ensuring that annual account are prepared, audited and filed in accordance with local regulations.Responsible for ensuring that Group monthly, quarterly, annual accounts are prepared in accordance with Group policies and are submitted in accordance with Group deadlines.

You will be a Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or MBA and be able to commit to this role for the next 6 months, based in Hong Kong.
