Interim Finance Director

Investigate, Evaluate and Implement Core Controls and Changes
Our Client is a niche provider of services in consulting to the public and private sectors. With strong management in place and intentions in developing its European presence, the Company recognises that effective financial planning, controls and systems are the key to this growth.

Working closely with the Managing Director and with Board colleagues, you will be wholly accountable for the evaluation, investigation and development of financial controls calculated to improve profitability and enhance margin contribution. This requires a thorough ‘root and branch’ forensic examination of the business, with delivery of change and the development of a robust strategy for further long term improvements.

Certainly a qualified accountant, you will possess high levels of integrity, credibility and objectivity, with the ability to quickly get to the ‘heart of the matter’. You will work closely with the MD and as such, possess the ability to implement changes and systems. Knowledge of the service sector will be highly advantageous as will a grounding in GAAP, treasury, CSR, secretariat and contracts. This is a flexible interim role which may become permanent.
