Our client, AVG, is currently accelerating its globalisation strategy. This expansion incorporates several interesting components, including the development of its software with a view to a new version release later this year, an aggressive acquisitions strategy in order to enhance its market share and technical proposition and the identification and hiring of some key individuals – to perform critical roles.

Our client’s primary private equity investors are gearing the business for a quadrupling of revenues over the next four years. As a consequence, there is a significant drive to realise revenues as quickly as is possible. On this basis, we are embarking on an initiative to hire up to 6 x Interim Senior Channel Sales Specialists. These key appointments will be focused on the identification and securing of lucrative in-country distribution / reseller contracts in order to create revenue and market traction expediently. The interim periods will vary from 20 to 40 to 60 working days, subject to the successful candidates own medium term plans and the performance of these individuals during their tenure.

The emphasis is on hiring high energy, highly intelligent and commercially astute individuals with a localised contacts network already in place and ready for use. This, fused with a no-nonsense attitude to winning sustainable channel business, should see an immediate positive impact on revenues in the chosen region.

Remuneration packages are lucrative, flexible and incentive orientated. Consideration will be given to those wishing to secure a financial package either on a ‘day-rate’ basis, or over a fixed (short) term.

Priority territories are Singapore for South East Asia, Northern Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, South Western Europe and the Middle East, China, and South Americas
