Interim Senior Product Development Manager

You are of graduate calibre with a degree in food science or food technology or have professional culinary qualifications, and have a minimum of five years’ post graduate or development management experience in a similar role. Passionate about food, you will ideally have experience of the chilled or frozen retail seafood sector. With strong people management, IT and project management skills, you are an excellent communicator and team player. You are now looking for an interim role where your talents can shine.

Reporting to the Development Director, you will deputise for the current NPD Manager while she is on maternity leave. You will launch the company’s product development plan, manage the development personnel and implement all strategic project requirement allocations. You will lead by example through a hands-on approach and be seen as a champion of best practice. You will control and initiate concept development, evaluation of sourcing new seafood opportunities, package and other ingredients, through to launch.
