Internal Audit Manager - Financial Services

An Internal Audit Manager is currently being sought by my client - a Global Retail Bank.


Having weathered the recent financial storms, they are now keen on getting back to business as usual and as such are keen to keep internal controls in line with the addition of 2 Internal Audit Managers.


The culture is flexible and results orientated. Managers within this organisation are responsible for managing the audit plan and will be in charge of 4 audit seniors at a time. You will be charged with their management, development and appraisals. It is important that successful candidates have had previous experience of managing at least one subordinate.


It is essential that you have previous financial services experiences gained either in industry or have worked within this division within the Big 4 to be considered for this role.


You will be a self starter and able start influencing the bottom line from your first day with your strong communication and influencing skills. As a highly ambitious individual you will be able to demonstrate career progression in previous roles.


Although Audit Managers do not travel as often as the Senior Auditors, there is the opportunity for some international travel and a small percentage of UK travel.
