Internal Audit Manager - Global Retail

My client is a global retail firm with an enviable reputation and due to an internal move into an overseas business role, we are currently seeking an Internal Audit Manager to join their busy team.


Your responsibilities will include:

Managing a team of 6 auditors, 5 of which are based from the Central London offices
Planning and developing the group audit plan
Supporting the Audit Director

The audit team works globally and travels within Europe, South America, Africa, Pan Asia and Australasia. Although the manager will not travel as extensively as the auditors, you will be keen to keep your audit skills up to scratch and perform audits yourself periodically as well as work with your team. As such global travel is likely to be 40%.


You will be a qualified accountant with excellent business acumen and a pragmatic approach to problem solving are required, along with an ability to align the objectives of an effective control environment with the objectives of the group.


The audit function is extremely well respected within the business and is viewed as a pool of future business managers.
