My Client, a leading national organisation, is currently seeking an Internal Auditor to join their team.
The ideal applicant will have a minimum 3 years PQE and be seeking a challenging, yet rewarding role within a customer focused environment.
Due to the nature of the business, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.
The duties will include, but certainly not limited to: -
Assist the Head of Audit in preparing the annual risk based audit plan
Carry out risk-based audits of business processes and report findings to management, which improve internal controls
Scoping the work and agreeing terms of reference with management
Carrying out fieldwork, including testing as appropriate
Agreeing findings and recommendations with management, ensuring that recommendations address key risks and add value
Drafting the audit report and obtaining management responses
Monthly follow up of recommendations to ensure timely implementation
Carry out premises audits and report results to local hotel management about 50% of available time
