Already established as one of the world leaders in infection prevention, our client is committed to continued product development and the creation of a cleaner, safer, greener healthcare environment across the world. Now, with further major growth in mind, they wish to appoint an International Business Manager to develop their international distributor market further.

Taking responsibility for the BDM, export desk and distributor team, you will be instrumental in shaping market strategies and in coaching the customer-facing team to achieve positive growth. You will also manage the operational challenges through technical support liaison, cost effective customer service and managing the forecasting input and process for the distributor market. You’ll implement programmes to upgrade distributor capabilities over 12 key countries and drive further growth in another 30 non-key geographies. As well as leading from the front, you’ll also be capable of working with other company departments, including marketing, to ensure effective competitor analysis and quality support materials.

Qualified to degree level or equivalent, you’ll ideally have an extensive background in the global healthcare market and be able to demonstrate exposure to business development, marketing and operations. You’ll be well-used to managing teams in the development of distributor markets and will possess excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. You’ll be goal-orientated and possess the discipline to ensure personal and team targets are met. Whilst a second European language would be ideal, it is by no means essential.
