IT Audit Manager – Financial Services
London - Home Based
Experienced IT Auditor required for my client, a global financial services giant, as they enter a period of growth. My client have a strong promote from within policy and as such are keen to recruit ambitious IT auditors with an eye on the future.
The IT Audit function do not operate in a stand alone function but prefer to integrate with the rest of the business as much as possible. There is clear communication between business managers and IT Auditors as all share the common goal of influencing the bottom line and driving the business forward.
You must understand the control, regulatory and risk issues relating to IT.
You will have a thorough understanding of current and emerging technologies and a good understanding of best practice IT management disciplines.
You will be keen to mentor and head up teams of IT Auditors and take the lead with the more complicated audits.
You will have a strong academic background and be able to demonstrate career development within your current or previous roles.
You are likely to have a given speciality e.g Unix, Firewalls etc
There is a small percentage of travel with this role.
