IT Auditor, Retail Banking

My client is a global retail bank. Due to internal promotion we are currently seeking 2 IT Auditors to join this high profile team. With a number of UK centres the successful candidates will have the option to be based out of either London or Manchester.

You will be responsible for planning and performing audit procedures including risk assessments, identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analysing evidence and documenting client processes and procedures.

Applications are welcomed from 2 types of candidate:
You are an IT Auditor currently working for the Big 4 or an industry client and will have a strong technical knowledge and be able to demonstrate a defined career path, but will be looking for your next challenging career move.

You will currently be working within IT and be keen to make the move across into audit. You could work in IT security or network support and be keen to learn more about the business as you advance up the career ladder.

All candidates will be bright graduates who have strong academics and can think on their feet in order to identify the risks within any given situation.

The ability to demonstrate an expertise in a particular area would be seen as a distinct advantage e.g. Security, Firewalls, Microsoft, Unix, Cryptology, PKI. In depth infrastructure and applications knowledge would also be seen as advantageous.

There is a small percentage of travel with this role although it is predominantly UK based.
