IT Consultant - VMware/NetApp/Exchange/MS Server
London - London
London based IT Consultant needed with strong hands on experience with MS Server, MS Exchange, VMware, NetApp at almost guru’s level. Accreditations in all or some of these areas are also important.
Job Role
Senior Engineer/IT Consultant to design, build and install solutions for ustomers - high-level support is also part of the role. The person will assume a very senior role within the technical team.
Essential Core Product/Systems Experience (install, configure, support, solution design) MS Windows Server, including clustering MS Server products, i.e. Exchange, SQL Citrix Cisco (LAN, WAN) HP (Servers, Networking) Firewall / security products (mid/high range) Storage Area Networking (HP products in particular, NetApp / VMware product knowledge desirable)
General Skills/Attributes
- Ability to deliver technical designs based on the above products, supplying documentation to support the design / solution
- Hands-on ability to install a solution and complete the project
- Develop written proposals and explain concepts and technical solutions to customers (not always IT experts)
