IT Director - Solutions and Change Delivery
East England - Midlands (East)
This company is a major financial services organisation that is undergoing exciting and progressive change.
The role will involve leading and directing all activities associated with a large and complex IT estate, including many legacy systems - and the delivery of IT change aligned to significant business change programmes. There will be overall responsibility for over 300 staff, managed via 5 direct senior management reports.
Candidates will be IT professionals with experience in large scale IT environments and strong general management capability. Candidates will demonstrate a number of key skills: leadership - experience of leading large functions (100+ headcount), including multidisciplinary and specialist teams in a complex and fast moving business environment; effective stakeholder management at a high level; strong track record of delivery of a significant change portfolio (change programmes/projects); 3rd party supplier management – integration of offshore and onshore suppliers in the end to end delivery process; strong commercial management of major programme delivery; operated effectively at a senior level (Board level in a significantly sized and complex organization).
Location: as with most corporate roles at this level, there will be a degree of travel. It would be quite acceptable for a candidate to live anywhere from the north to the south of England and travel. An element of home working would be acceptable.
