Sales Manager-IT Hardware Infrastructure (Manchester)

This leading supplier of IT infrastructure services solutions has been offering government and corporate clients a wide range of infrastructure. They pride themselves on working with IT departments supplementing them with necessary specialist skills, resources and experience to give their clients the best possible IT infrastructure as well as assisting the smooth and successful running of their businesses.
They offer a wide range of services including managed services, support services, technology solutions and technology disposals as well as a great product range with the most cost-effective hardware and software technology.
You will be reporting to the sales director, so you will be expected to work independently, your main challenge will be to create new business opportunities, you will be provided with warm leads but you will also be expected to be proactive and create interest in the corporate and financial vertical markets. As this is a technical role you will be responsible for giving clients technical help and offering more solutions to enable the smooth running of the clients business.
The ideal candidate will have sold desktop support and managed services with an average order value of £10 million to £30 million. You will have very strong commercial awareness and good business acumen with in the corporate, financial and local authority markets. As well as excellent planning, goal setting and monitoring you will need excellent communication and presentation skills along with a confident manner.
The successful candidate will expect a basic £50-£80k with an OTE £250k-£300k plus car, laptop, blackberry, health care and a generous pension contribution.
