IT Infrastructure Manager

FINTEC recruit is seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager. This is a staff role with our international Oil and Gas subsea engineering client based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities

The IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for a team of IT personnel to ensure the stability of the environment, and deliver an infrastructure strategy for the business going forward.

As part of IT?s overall employee development programme, build a mechanism to provide development opportunities for the Service Desk personnel as well as driving knowledge into that team

? Ability to demonstrate exemplary leadership skills to create and develop a high performance, productive, engaged work teams and result-focused work environment of inclusion, fairness and employee engagement.
? Ability to create a friendly and pleasant working environment and develop a culture of mutual respect and communication.

? Ability to provide effective management of employees through timely, candid and constructive feedback.
? Experience in an IT environment preferable.
? Project management experience preferable.
? Experience of a major systems deployment preferable.

Qualifications and Training

? HND or equivalent in a relevant subject, Degree would be advantageous
? ITIL certification v3 Foundation, Manager?s certificate would be advantageous
? IT industry recognised qualification preferably (e.g. MCP, MSCE/A, CCNA)
