IT Relationship Manager - Clinical R&D

Our client is a R&D driven, global pharmaceutical company, originating in Japan. With market leading brands in Urology, Immunology and Inflammation, especially Transplantation, the combined R&D capability is exploring other targeted areas of unmet medical need; diabetes, cancer, dermatology and new drugs for infectious diseases. The company has a strong commitment to growth, fast becoming a global category leader in several therapeutic areas.
Worldwide sales are €8.23bn and €1.2bn in Europe. R&D, based in Leiderdorp Netherlands, focuses on the development of medicines for pain, urology and diabetes/metabolic diseases with seven key brands over three therapeutic areas. We now need experienced, motivated and ambitious individuals ready to make a significant impact as IT Relationship Managers / Business Information Managers supporting the R&D function, both locally and in a global context.
Working closely with the business groups in R&D you will identify, implement and advise on the use of technology to support constant the change and enhance the value of the business. You will define the information strategy for clinical and validation processes eliciting information, analysing and scoping requirements, working with external suppliers to provide and implement solutions and reporting processes.
A graduate or business level qualified, you must have a sound knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector, relevant regulatory requirements, trends and developments and a technical grounding in IT with solid software lifecycle and project management skills. This will include experience in clinical business systems, such as CTMS/IMPACT, SAS and RAVE. Personal attributes will ensure you are commercially aware with a service oriented approach and are able to establish relationships, communicate effectively, manage suppliers and associated budgets and influence outcomes.
