A senior sales opportunity has arisen with my client a leading and globally recognised provider of full IT Solutions, IT Services, Consultancy and Outsourcing solutions throughout the world. Due to their continued success and development they are looking to hire a Senior Business Development Manager to drive the pipeline for the business development team within a clearly specified account within the Transportation space, particularly Rail Operators.
The successful Senior Business Development Manager will have a proven and demonstrable track record of at least 5 – 10 years selling at the highest level into the Transportation marketplace. Experience selling at the highest level into Transportation preferably Rail Operators is essential and the successful candidate will have closed at least 3 £1m plus deals within this market in the last 5 – 10 years. Through a combination of strategic selling, analytical and relationship management skills, the successful sales executive will need to focus on securing relationships that build long-term client revenues and profitability. Complex solutions sales experience is essential and experience selling Outsourcing services is preferable. There is a lot of team interaction required and skills ensuring that all relevant departments within the business are working closely together.
