IT SOX & Governance Co-ordinator

My client are a leading global business with offices based in Guildford Surrey. They are currently recruiting for an outstanding individual to join their team on a permanent as an IT SOX Governance Co-ordinator.
The overall objective of this role is to assist the IT management in achieving on going compliance with the requirements of Sarbanes Oxley Act and other IT regulations or guidelines.

Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Manage and support IT SOX team members.
- Ensure IT SOX Team meets defined objectives.
- Compile an maintain a list of IT risks, generic processes and key controls that if performed effectively will ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
- Lead the IT SOX testing regime.
- Liase between internal and external audit.
- Provide training and awareness sessions relating to IT SOX.

You will have:
- A sound understanding of the Sarbanes Oxley Act and PCAOB requirements.
- A sound understanding of IT Governance and IT Control Frameworks such as COBIT.
- A broad understanding of process and control design.
