IT Strategy Consulting Director

Our client is a niche, autonomous business within a leading IT services and consulting group which provides leading edge subscription based research and advisory services to CIOs of major international organisations. It is well established and has an impressive heritage and influence that belies its size.
Continued growth has created an opening for a senior and experienced individual to provide advisory and consulting services to senior technology executives and undertake related research into subjects “on the CIO agenda”. The key purpose of the role is to “bring to life” research and help CIOs and their leadership team understand the changing technical and business landscape at a strategic level. Based in London and reporting to the MD, the role will require mobility but this will not involve extended periods away. While not specifically involving sales targets there is an expectation that the individual will play a key role in securing new business through the development of strong relationships.
Our client seeks credible and innovative individuals with an impressive track record of relevant strategic IT experience gained in a consulting firm or competitor. This will probably include experience across international operations, across at least two business sectors, enterprise level IT strategy and specific insights into business relationship management. Although offering the security and brand name of a major corporate the unique nature of our client requires that individuals are comfortable working in an unstructured, non hierarchical environment.
