IT Test Manager (Retail, Hopitality, Leisure Group

You will develop and own the Test Strategy, including the appropriate provision of test environments for each application in use within the company plus developing and maintaining the Master Test Plan for the testing of all applications prior to their go live. You will ensure the testing requirements for each IT project are considered within the Master Test Plan and business priorities are considered and met in line with the IT Project Roadmap and will organise and manage test resources to meet the requirements the Master Test Plan. You will ensure detailed test plans, test cases and scenarios are in place and executed for the testing of each software release and will develop the continual building of regression tests to support future testing. You will provide estimates and feedback regarding testing to the Project Managers for scheduling purposes and will liaise proactively with the business to ensure accurate priorities are allocated to any defects raised. You will manage the relationship with external supplier(s) and internal Project Managers and the business with regard to the testing phase of each IT project. And will line manage the permanent Test Analysts, including responsibility for their personal development. We require you to have strong test management experience within a commercial environment and a thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes with a proven experience of managing concurrent testing over multiple projects.
