Key Account Manager – Benelux – Attractive Salary & Benefits

Client - is a leading automotive supplier, enhancing vehicle performance, efficiency, and appearance through state-of-the-art technologies, world class brands and global solutions to their customers' needs.

They manufacture and market a host of leading consumer automotive brands including Fram Oil, air transmission and fuel filters; Prestone antifreeze/coolant and car care products; Autolite spark plugs; and Holts car care products.

Role - This position will report directly to the Benelux Sales Director and will be responsible for selling their range of car care products to new and existing retail markets across the Benelux region.

Key Responsibilities:

•Direct contact with key account Benelux Retail
•Follow up on key account commercial plans
•Responsible of Key Account promotional actions
•Development of Key Account projects (promotions; merchandising & public relations)
•Frequent International visits (Benelux and international sales meetings)
•Independent work & personal initiative
•Passion for car care industry
•Marketing & communication budget management


Person specification (higher weighting/scoring more important)

• 10 - Some sales experience with at strong knowledge of Key account management
• 10 - Strong experience of branding
• 10 - Up to date on retail marketing management
• 10 - Excellent communication skills - negotiating, public speaking, presenting etc
• 10 - Possession of driver licence
• 10 - Language knowledge: Dutch, French and English (spoken and written)
• 9 - Knowledge of IT systems e.g. - SAP, Microsoft excel, word and power point programs, internet and updated communication knowledge
• 9 - Experience with different distribution models
• 9 - Competitor and market knowledge
• 8 - BA commercial degree or equal related degree
