Our client is a world class Systems and Engineering Technology Consultancy. They are now looking to recruit a Lead Mechanical Engineer.
The Role - Lead Mechanical Engineer required to mentor the Structures and Fluids group. The role sits in the technical axis and requires a broad range of activities:
- Stress or fluid analysis
- Interpretation of clients technical needs
- Preperation of proposals
- Technical leadership on projects
- Assistance in local marketing initiatives
- Project Management
- Personnel Management.
The Candidate - You will be a Chartered degree educated Engineer with experience of structural or fluid analysis, preferably in the Defence or Nuclear sector. You must be able to provide technical supervision to engineers with whom you work and have a proactive and approachable manner. You will have experience of:
- Computational analysis (FEA or CFD)
- Ansys or Abaqus or Fluent
