Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly ambitious and skilled senior developer to aid the advancement of a new marketing platform. This product successfully launched and is now ready to be built out to its full potential and rolled out into other verticals worldwide!
Key Responsibilities
Back-end development in PHP5 using and MVC Framework (Symf or Zend or other)
PHP unit testing development
System administration (Cloud base platform) LAMP stack (System updates, Scheduled backups, Load balancing set up, Performance monitoring)
Guarantee scalability and availability of the platform world wide
Candidate Requirements:
Skills Required
Essential:
Deep knowledge of PHP5 (OOP)
Experience in PHP based MVC-Frameworks
Strong knowledge of databases and SQL (preferably MySQL)
Experience with LAMP environment
System Administration (LAMP: Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
Experience with Cloud based solutions (backups, load balancing)
Experience with Git (source code management)
Desired:
JavaScript (jQuery)
API implementations
Video streaming / recording (RTMP/RTMPT)
SendGrid (email)
Prefer degree level candidates
