LEAD RISK BUSINESS PARTNER (x2)

Our client is one the UK’s leading banking establishments.

Due to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for two senior managers to join the Group Operations Risk Team as Lead Business Partners.

As a key member of the Management Team, you will be accountable for providing robust risk challenge and support to one or more Directors.

You will provide guidance at a Director Level for Risk Management both operationally and strategically.

You will also be responsible for owning various Risk Strategy and Plans across the Business Units which will be driven by Risk Profiles and Business Plans rolling up to an Overall Divisional Risk Strategy whilst also driving the Regulatory & Assurance agenda with each of the Business Units.

To be successful in this crucial post you will need to possess and demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience of the Group Risk Framework to ensure all key risks are identified and managed appropriately by the Director.

You will show excellent understanding of both Regulatory and Commercial Risk and the challenges that will then be faced by the Business Area, and how these will shape the future of the business unit.

You will also need to demonstrate the ability to manage and grow strong relationships with Senior Managers to develop awareness, provide challenge and extend knowledge of Risk Management amongst colleagues at all levels to ensure risk management practices are fully embedded, utilised and understood.
