Systems Engineering & Programme Management consultancy founded in 1989 to meet the demand for technical support to defence and commercial organisations, developing high value complex systems. Enterprise and System Engineering consultancy to par, nt company MoD and other industry clients.
Primary Purpose of the Role
We are looking for experienced Lead Systems Engineers to join the Systems Engineering Service Delivery team.
Principle Relationships
Individuals will need to have experience of leading teams and managing customer relationships.
Key Tasks
Individuals will be expected to be able to assess the needs of a project, develop the Systems Engineering approach and work with the project manager and product engineers to deliver the solution. They will be expected to provide leadership within the business group, support bids and proposals and interact with customers on technical issues.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate achievements in one or more of the following:
- Technical leadership of a team of engineers developing a system solution or conducting system level testing.
- The development of a bid, system or product solution strategy.
- Provision of advice or guidance on the implementation of Systems Engineering methods and tools on high value complex projects or across product lines.
Technical and Professional Skills
We are interested in applicants who have a broad practical experience of System Engineering and the application of design methodologies and associated tools.
Education and Qualifications
Applicants should typically have a degree in an engineering related discipline, however alternative related equivalent qualifications and practical experience will always be considered.
Personality / Behaviours
Alongside your technical background, you will exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, personal drive, organisational ability, a desire and ability to get the job done, within a multi-disciplined team environment.
Note: As a Consultant you will be expected to work at client sites within the UK (if desired, working from client sites abroad may also be possible).
Candidates must be prepared to travel across the U.K. as part of their job. Please supply expected salaries on CV. We do still require the date of birth for every individual to be on their CV.
