Experience in developing secure Web based applications under Linux/Unix as well as comprehensive experience across the full software cycle is a must. Excellent problem solving, task prioritisation, communication, administration and organisational skills are also required.

Experience
A seasoned Technical Architect with the ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team.
Proven experience of development using web technologies and database driven applications.
Knowledge of clustered and distributed environments.
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Experience in providing documentation allowing others to thoroughly understand a solutions design.
Technical skills
Significant experience of working in a LAMP environment, with a background in software development.
Excellent knowledge of databases and data modelling (knowledge of PowerDesigner would be a plus).
Good understanding of software lifecycle management and practice of software engineering tools (IDEs, code versioning, ticketing system, etc.)
A thorough understanding of W3C systems integration standards including XML, SOAP, HTTP and network topology.
Excellent technical report writing skills.
Qualification
Degree in computer science/engineering (or related subject) desirable
Temperament/motivation
Strong analytical skills
Passionate about technology and its "creative" utilisation (within the limit of commercial and practical sense)
A hands on, intensely proactive approach and thorough attention to detail
Self motivated with strong personal organisational skills
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
Willing to take on a new intellectual challenge
