Our client is a global market leader in the provision of online content and information for professionals in the legal, law enforcement, accounting, risk management, corporate, government, and academic markets.
Within the UK they are the leading firm in the provision of legal information and online services to the top 100 law firms, Judges and the majority of the FTSE 100 firms.
About the Role
The Legal Marketing Manager will own and manage the strategic development and delivery of all marketing activities for the legal sector in the UK, including the launch of a number of new, key online products and services, with the aim of growing revenue.
Responsibilities will include:
Develop a market segmentation and create excellent value propositions for each segment
Develop and manage the execution of the product launch plan, communications and marketing campaign strategy for each phase
Create and manage Sales tools for the online research platform
Oversee the proposition development and customer messaging for online products
Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify the best mix of pricing, channels and media
Manage and develop the legal sector team
What We’re Looking For
B2B Marketing Experience ideally within information businesses or the software sector
Experience of marketing complex products with long sales cycle, including new product launches
Experience of marketing that involves a sales force
Experience of a range of marketing skills, across the marketing mix
An innovator with a track record of initiating new approaches or new ideas around the marketing of products
The ability to impact at a high level and the credibility to work with senior stakeholders, including the executive team.
Excellent decision maker with strong commercial acumen.
