Management Accountant, Japanese Investment Bank

Globally recognised investment bank, currently looking for a technically strong management accountant with payroll analysis experience to join its team.

·Complete the detail HR budget, dealing with staff costs for the entire branch;
·Manage the forecasting on a monthly basis as well as performing monthly costs analysis;
·Analyse and approve all HR / Payroll related accounting entries;
·Analyse and manage all intercompany debtor accounts owned by HR;
·Deal with the reporting and liaison with all auditors – both internal and external;
·Provide ad hoc analysis, as well as checking and approving all HR expenses;
·Manage the compensation and benefits arm of the branch;
·Ensure company policies, procedures and appropriate laws are followed in respect of compensation & benefits;
·Monthly review of local, expatriate & subsidy payrolls;
·Support Compensation and Benefits Executive, as well as Administrators on accounting, payroll and taxation matters;
·Support HR related systems projects (Oracle);

Skills/Experience:
·A recognised accountancy qualification – CIMA / ACCA;
·Excellent experience of management accounting practises, budgeting and forecasting;
·Previous experience of payroll approval and analysis;
·Strong systems experience - and can demonstrate excellent skills in excel;
·Previous people management experience is desirable.
