Rate: £70K (Permanent) + £70000 plus bonus and benefits
This company is an insurance major and one of the most successful companies in the UK. This role sits in one of the major divisions of the company and involves working with the Director of Strategy, Head of Strategy and Senior Business Leaders to develop a clear and robust business strategy. The role covers development of financial, customer, distribution and market position strategies.
The role holder will lead strategic enterprise-level projects and drive them forward to inform and ground strategies across the business, to fulfil the company's growth and transformation ambitions.
Key responsibilities will include: providing strategy process expertise, support and challenge to leadership executive team sponsors, and senior managers of strategic and transformational programmes; contributing to the translation of the outputs of strategy development activity into a clear and communicable articulation of strategy; supporting the internal and external communication of the strategy; input to the delivery of the strategic component of the annual Corporate Plan and ensuring its incorporation in the Plan as a whole.
Candidates will have a background in a management consulting environment, either in a strategy consulting firm, or consulting firm with blue chip clients, or part of an in-house consulting team within a blue chip. Qualifications will include a good degree, plus postgraduate business qualifications are desirable e.g. MBA. Experience will include: working knowledge of strategy analysis and development tools, frameworks, processes; extensive experience of working on strategic initiatives or projects within complex environments, in strategy, marketing, distribution or change disciplines. Experience of the insurance industry or the financial services market is NOT necessary – any market sector is applicable.
