Manager Proposals

Our client is a world leading multi-specialist energy services provider, offering energy and environmental solutions to clients globally. They are looking for a Manager Proposals, to lead the Proposals team.

The purpose of the role will be to lead and manage the Proposals team in order to develop enhanced customer focus, market knowledge, differentiators, capture strategies, procurement capabilities, sourcing strategies, risk mitigation strategies, competitive estimates thus developing sustainable business opportunities that will lead to winning and the execution of profitable contracts
Key Duties will include:
Managing all Proposal activities during proposal phase and post-submittal activities.
Develop and manage the proposal team; assigning leaders and allocating resources.
Reviewing and managing continuous improvement of proposal costs.
Reviewing processes and systems for continued effectiveness.
Working with Sales; to produce a winning strategy and to identify high level capture strategy for all proposals.
The person:

The successful candidate will have significant and appropriate experience working in the Power industry in either a sales or proposals role. They will also have a track record of winning strategic deals and experience of handling multiple proposals with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines. Experience of the complete proposal process form start to completion is also required.
A degree in Engineering or an appropriate equivalent qualification is essential.
