Managing Director, Agribusiness Private Equity

The Managing Director will play a key role in establishing and managing this new private equity fund; sourcing and evaluating potential deals as well as supporting fund-raising efforts. The MD will develop strategy, examine business and legal issues related to establishing an Agribusiness fund, explore potential local partnerships, and develop a business plan and private placement memorandum. Additional responsibilities will also include developing a local deal team, overseeing the investment process, sourcing deals and building up the investment portfolio, conducting due diligence, structuring and negotiating investment terms, co-ordinating with the Investment Committee, monitoring the investments, and concluding attractive exit options.
