The challenge here will be to lead a £100m profitable process manufacturing business in the delivery of ambitious but highly achievable future growth plans. The organisation recognises it is capable of a step change and requires a high calibre Managing Director with significant operational experience and an ability to thrive in a change management role.

The appointee will be responsible for developing and delivering a robust strategy, ensuring ongoing profitable performance, whilst improving flexibility, responsiveness and efficiency through the implementation of Six Sigma or other world class manufacturing principles. Candidates, ideally degree qualified, are likely to be either currently Operations Director in a similar sized company or a Managing Director of a £40 million+ process manufacturing business. Leadership capability is particularly important and candidates must be able to demonstrate a track record of profitable business growth, achieved through effective change management and the deployment of lean manufacturing techniques.
