This client is a leading engineering, procurement and contracting group. It provides a vast range of services, covering construction, aluminium and glass manufacturing and installation, ready-mix, electro-mechanical services and interiors. Committed to excellence across its diversified portfolio, the group offers clients and partners integrated, multi-disciplinary solutions delivered by specialist teams and companies. The firm is supported by a vast infrastructure of in-house resources for fabrication, design, manufacturing and other related services. For almost three decades, the group has been developing outstanding project management skills and quality assurance methodologies. Their project portfolio includes hospitals, bridges, heritage sites, towers, multiplexes, malls and residential villas.

The company requires a highly qualified managing director/general manager to head up the business, reporting to the board.

Candidate profile:

~ Educated to degree level
~ UAE experience is preferable, but not essential
~ Experience of running a company and tendering for project work
~ Business development and PR/marketing skills
~ Smart appearance with excellent interpersonal skills
~ Ideal candidates will already be running their own business or factory
~ Full P&L responsibility, with HR, business development and technical expertise
