Our client, part of a significant and highly successful international Group, is a world leading manufacturing organisation supplying a wide range of quality critical industrial products. The company, which is well established and undergoing a period of major investment, is experiencing impressive ongoing growth and has ambitious plans for the future.
Leading a significant multi-disciplined team, this role will have responsibility for driving manufacturing performance across a high volume operation through the implementation of modern manufacturing practices. The emphasis of the role will be on working closely with others to introduce incremental and sustainable change, leading to the achievement of World Class standards.
Candidates, ideally degree qualified in an engineering or manufacturing-related discipline, will have proven experience in a similar role gained in a progressive manufacturing environment. A track record of performance improvement achieved through the implementation of lean practices is essential, and ideal candidates will demonstrate strong leadership characteristics and the ability to deliver change through collaborative working.
