Manufacturing / Operations / Production Director - c. £65,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Pension + Benefits
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
The Manufacturing / Operations / Production Director will be responsible for the manufacturing, production and operation of the company production facility in Swindon and for the delivery of all company products from this site in accordance with company quality, cost and delivery targets. The Manufacturing / Operations / Production Director will ensure Compliance with all regulatory and legislative practices and policies e.g. ISO 13485, MDD, FDA and implement continuous improvement initiatives in line with the corporate global strategy.
Our client is a world leader in the manufacture of precision engineered products for medical applications and has a wide network of other international manufacturing sites around the globe.
The successful Manufacturing / Operations / Production Director will possess qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Manufacturing, Production Engineering, technical, materials etc and have demonstrable experience of leading large teams within a site manufacturing environment. The role requires good communications and team building skills, knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and a high level of enthusiasm and self-motivation.
