Marketing Development Manager

Our client provides Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) solutions for the world's airspace. They are currently looking to recruit a Market Development Manager to join their Sales and Marketing team.

The Role:
As Market Development Manager you will be responsible for:

+ Initiating and developing new markets and new product offerings for the defence sector
+ Supporting the company's strategy of developing its defence business to provide strong annual growth by leading defence sector initiatives
+ Making recommendations that grows the product portfolio through a mix of partnerships and internal R & D to meet those requirements
+ Acting as a key link between Group HQ and parent company Business Development teams
+ Qualify and develop business case and ROI propositions for new opportunities
+ Provide a Sales/Marketing support function to address the need to meet and present defence capability to new customers in UK and overseas.

Experience:
As Market Development Manager you will have experience of:

+ Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant Engineering or Business Management discipline.
+ Experience of Marketing /Product Management or Business Development Management
+ Background and knowledge of defence systems
+ Strong communication skills
+ Experience of presenting to all levels
+ High-level creative and technical writing skills
