Salary to £55,000 + benefits
This is an exciting UK Software vendor with a unique product suite targeted at organisations needing to deploy complex high volume contact centre solutions. They have customers in the UK, Europe and the US.
The Marketing Managers’ primary focus is to provide targeted messaging to identified market segments and customers to generate sales leads and support the overall sales effort. It is important to be able to identify the business issues within Contact centres and ISV’s that can be addressed by the products offered and identify and communicate with the key decision-makers through effective marketing messages.
The role will be very sales and opportunity focused and the successful candidate will be expected to be metric driven thereby allowing constant refinement of activity and the marketing messages in order to maximise effectiveness.
Responsibilities
• Identify generic vertical market specific problems that can be addressed by the product suite.
• In conjunction with the sales and product teams, develop the marketing collateral to target the right audiences.
• Create high quality white papers and case studies.
• Take responsibility for the corporate web site; authoring, editing and acquiring continuous fresh content.
• Identify and manage exhibitions, conferences etc.
• Generate news/press releases and manage PR agency and press and analyst liaison.
• Plan, manage and execute targeted mail/telemarketing activities.
• Research competitor activity and positioning.
• Take Editorial responsibility for all external communications.
• Maintain metrics on marketing activity/results.
Skills and Experience required:
• Solid hands-on software marketing background including budget management and leadership experience with a biased to lead generation rather than branding issues.
• Previous Contact Centre or telecoms experience a bonus but it is essential to have a high level understanding of enterprise software technologies.
• Ideally previous experience of ‘evangelising’ high value software products to major corporate customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Degree Level education or equivalent preferred.
• A high work rate.
• Ability to build process and metrics into the marketing activities.
• A close affinity working with Sales.
You must be a UK / EU National or already be resident in the UK and have a current Work Permit.
