Marketing Manager

This is a unique opportunity to join one of the UK's largest food manufacturers with some of the UK's most loved brands. The company has an incredibly strong brand portfolio and they are looking for a highly ambitious and driven Marketing Manager to lead the development and implementation of strategies that drive profitable, sustainable growth for the brand in line with business expectations.
Accountabilities include:
- Create impactful customer activation programme for new products, delivering all criteria for designated project launch code, on time and within budget.
- Create digital asset management site encompassing the complete brand portfolio that provides an easily accessible service containing accurate and timely images for all products and brands.
- Customer champion; create annual activity plan for designated customers, in conjunction with sales identifying products through gap analysis and building cost effective marketing support programme in line with sales targets and spend budgets.
- Channel champion; understand channel dynamics and drivers, create strategy for growth incorporating full marketing mix, implement activities as approved by Innovation Controller and budget allocated.
- Tracking and analysis of all initiated promotional activity whether product specific, (NPD launch), across all customers or customer specific, manage promotional stock allocation to ensure zero write-off, create report for each activity showing ROI and use results to improve effectiveness of future promotions.
The ideal candidate will have solid FMCG marketing experience with a track record of delivery. You must have the ability to think both strategically and manage operational issues effectively. A blue chip background and strong educational track record is also desirable.
