Marketing Product Manager - Building Products, North West

£50k package including bonus + benefits + car

The Company

· A market leading manufacturer and supplier to the construction related industries with a worldwide sales, marketing and manufacturing presence, wish to appoint an experienced and successful Product Manager

The Role

· As part of the Marketing Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing markets, introducing and developing new products to the UK market.
· As Manager of a key product group within the overall business, you will play a significant part in formulating short term and long term planning, marketing analysis, assuming full margin control and profitability.
· Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, experienced and qualified career professional to progress within a truly global organisation

The Candidate

· Knowledge of general construction routes to markets could be beneficial. The role would suit an individual with either good sales, marketing, technical or design experience within this industry.
· The ability to liaise and develop relationships with fellow colleagues at corporate headquarters and to introduce strategies at boardroom level is a must. Key to your success will be the ability to devise and communicate your business plans for implementation amongst the salesforce. Through your leadership and technical expertise, you will become and be seen as the true Product Champion.
· You should be able to:
Co-ordinate the work of other internal departments
Manage a number of marketing projects simultaneously
Provide clear direction and product expertise
Work to tight deadlines and provide project delivery
Develop key customer relationships and sales growth
An Engineering or Marketing Degree would be an advantage.
